Non-Profit Tax ID# 23-7417611 The Dickinson Catholic Schools Foundation was formed as a separate non-profit organization in 1974 by a group of people dedicated to the mission of providing affordable Catholic education for the “exclusive purpose of providing financial assistance to the Catholic education system…scholarships, general operations, building and grounds, teacher betterment...” In 2004, the name of the foundation was changed to the Dickinson Catholic Schools Foundation and its purpose was amended to include “promoting, advancing and supporting Catholic education in the community.” The long range vision of the “founding fathers” was to develop a fund large enough, so the income from the fund would greatly reduce the demands put on parishes and parents to keep the school viable and strong. The fund grew quickly with initial contributions. The assets of the Foundation currently total approximately $1.6 million and are managed by American Trust Center, with the investment and distribution oversite of our current Board of Directors.
