Honor or Memorial Gifts

Many people chose to memorialize deceased friends and family members or to honor living friends and family members through a gift to Dickinson Catholic Schools in the name(s) of the person(s) to be memorialized or honored.  In this way the money is put towards educating youth beyond the person's lifetime. To put a designation in your will or list in an obituary notice, this could be as simple as: "In lieu of flowers or gifts, please send a memorial gift to the Dickinson Catholic Schools, PO Box 1177, Dickinson, ND 58602". For someone's birthday, anniversary, graduation or to say Thank You, you could make a donation in honor of that person. 

To make an ENDOWED donation, please mail your check or will statement, payable to the Dickinson Catholic Schools Foundation:

Please include with your contribution the honoree’s name and address, so that the DCS may notify that person of your thoughtfulness. In the case of a deceased honoree, please also include the name(s) and address of the family member(s) to whom you would like an acknowledgement sent, as well as their relationship to the deceased.

An acknowledgement letter will be sent to the donor (including IRS language), and then a letter will be sent to the honoree or honoree’s family. That letter will include the donor’s name and address, but not the gift amount.
